Revolv Supreme Clean Record Cleaning Fluid

A  household dust focused solution with controlled surface tension to better penetrate the grooves

Revolv is a record cleaning solution formulated specifically to address the primary source of record contamination: household dust. Research shows that biological dust makes up more than 80% of typical household grime by volume, and Revolv is engineered to break down and remove this material safely and effectively from record grooves.

Biodegradeable Formula

The formula is alcohol-free, organic, and biodegradable, making it suitable for repeated long-term use. It is safe for all vinyl records, compatible with all record cleaning machines, and safe to store and handle in a home environment. Revolv is supplied ready to use—no dilution or mixing required—and can be used with any vacuum-based RCM or applied manually with a wet brush. In addition to dust, it also loosens oils, fingerprints, and light surface grime that can affect playback quality.

Controlled Surface Tension

Revolv’s performance is driven by controlled surface tension. Many cleaning fluids are designed to spread immediately, which can cause the liquid to skim across the record surface rather than penetrate the grooves. Revolv behaves differently. On initial contact, its higher surface tension causes the fluid to bead, preventing uncontrolled flooding and excessive wetting. When light brush pressure is applied, the surface tension is locally broken, allowing the fluid to transition into a thin, even film that is drawn into the groove walls.

This controlled activation helps suspend contaminants where they accumulate and allows for more efficient vacuum removal. The result is targeted cleaning, reduced fluid waste, and effective evacuation without over-wetting the record or risking label damage.
