The REL Commodore .1/LFE Subwoofer Cable is a performance-focused home theater LFE lead designed for systems where bass detail, dynamics, and control really matter.

Wrapped in a bold blue Supplex braided outer jacket, it is purpose-built to preserve signal integrity while remaining flexible and easy to route around equipment racks and room furnishings. Commodore is voiced as a premium .1/LFE partner for REL’s higher-performance subwoofers, helping them deliver the impact and scale that modern soundtracks demand.

At its core, Commodore uses a high-quality Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) hot conductor developed specifically for this cable: 19 strands of ultra-fine 38 AWG wire. This architecture is tuned to transmit the full weight and nuance of low-frequency effects with speed and precision, maintaining articulation and timing from subtle atmospheric cues to high-impact explosions. An independent, dedicated ground path made from eleven strands of 32-gauge OFC further supports dynamic performance and stability.

To keep the noise floor low in real-world installations, Commodore combines its separate ground conductor with a full-foil aluminum shield that blocks both radio-frequency and electromagnetic interference. REL’s custom left-hand-thread RCA connectors maintain a secure, reliable connection through system changes and repositioning, while the supple jacket lets the cable lie flat and follow clean runs between processors, AVRs, and subwoofers for long-term, trouble-free use.
