REL AirShip Direct is a state-of-the-art wireless link designed to bring hardwired-quality performance to compatible REL subwoofers. Using a dedicated transmitter and a compact receiver that mounts directly to the sub’s amplifier panel, AirShip Direct removes the usual mess of long interconnects and extra boxes while preserving the speed, impact, and nuance that define REL’s low-frequency performance.

Built around a 5.8 GHz transmission platform originally reserved for demanding applications, AirShip Direct is engineered for zero compression and virtually zero delay, so bass arrives in time with your main speakers. The system carries REL’s preferred high-level signal, low-level stereo, and .1/LFE—all without a physical cable tether—giving you the freedom to place subwoofers where they sound best, even along glass walls or on hardwood floors, without compromising fidelity.

High-level Neutrik Speakon, low-level RCA, and dedicated .1/LFE RCA and XLR connectors on the transmitter make integration with both two-channel and home-theater systems straightforward. Once the receiver is mounted and power is applied, pairing is quick and automatic, turning REL’s Theatre Reference concept into a practical, everyday tool: rich, full-range bass for music with powerful, properly scaled effects for movies, all through a single wireless link.
