Phasemation PP-500 Moving Coil Cartridge
The PP-500 evolves Phasemation’s moving-coil engineering by inheriting key magnetic-circuit and vibration-system technologies from the flagship PP-2000. With a machined duralumin base and body treated with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) processing, a pure boron cantilever, Permendur magnetic-circuit material, and carefully selected 6N oxygen-free copper coils, the PP-500 delivers natural tonal balance, refined spatial expression, and dynamic musicality characteristic of Phasemation’s upper-tier designs.

- Refined Magnetic-Circuit Technology: The PP-500 adopts the magnetic-circuit structure developed for the PP-2000, improving efficiency while maintaining low moving mass. The use of Permendur for the magnetic-circuit composition enhances resolution, clarity, and openness across the frequency range.
- Enhanced Vibration System: The vibration system is derived from the PP-300 but tuned specifically for the PP-500. A machined duralumin base improves rigidity and stability, supporting more accurate tracing and greater expressive capability.
- Premium Mechanical Construction: Both the body and base are machined from duralumin and treated with DLC processing for exceptional rigidity and vibration damping. A pure boron φ0.26 mm cantilever, pure-iron coil bobbin, and 6N oxygen-free copper coils complete the high-precision assembly.
