Pathos InPol Remix MkII Tube Hybrid Integrated Amplifier
A fully-balanced pure class-A integrated amplifier using the latest generation double-InPol circuitry. The digital bias/gain set technology with intelligent control is entrusted to the same microprocessor that regulates the volume, thus guaranteeing the performance of the amplifier and its ability to drive the loudspeakers efficiently.
The optional HiDac Mk2 converter offers a high-quality on-board DAC with digital inputs.
InPol (Inseguitore Pompa Lineare - Linear Pump Follower) is a Pathos patented system that allows for much greater output in pure class-A. This fully balanced circuit design uses a single solid-state component in follower configuration, with a high-current gain and voltage gain together.
The tube amplifier amplifies the input signal voltage, and InPol supplies the current to drive the loudspeakers without any further amplification. The technology allows an increase in the theoretical output in pure class-A of between 25% and 50%. Together with a low output impedance and a double InPol circuit, the amplifier offers a high damping factor for immense control over the loudspeaker drivers.
