The Nordost Leifstyle brings Nordost’s analog cable design to a more accessible level, giving vinyl listeners a clean, well-shielded connection between tonearm and phonostage.

A tonearm cable has a delicate job. The signal coming from a phono cartridge is extremely low in level, which makes proper shielding, channel separation, and grounding especially important. The Leifstyle Tonearm Cable uses two individually shielded twisted conductor pairs, separating the left and right channels to help minimize inter-channel crosstalk.

Each signal conductor is 28 AWG solid-core, silver-plated 99.9999% OFC. Nordost also gives the Leifstyle Tonearm Cable a dedicated ground whip, terminated with gold-plated 5 mm spades, to help eliminate noise introduced during signal transfer.

The cable is designed with low capacitance, an important consideration in analog playback, where cable loading can affect cartridge performance and tonal balance.
