The Musical Fidelity M6xTT is a high-end turntable that brings the design philosophy of Musical Fidelity’s legendary M1 into the M6 line. The original concept was to combine the inert mass of metal alloys with the low-resonance behavior of acrylic, while using a dual-chassis structure to decouple the motor from the tonearm and platter. The M6xTT follows that same idea, but in a more affordable design inspired by the flagship M8xTT.

The chassis uses two acrylic plinths joined by four heavyweight aluminum feet with TPE damping and magnetic support. The feet are height-adjustable, making it easy to level the turntable precisely. The motor sits on special foam in the lower acrylic plinth, helping isolate it from the platter and tonearm, while electronic speed control lets you switch between 33 and 45 rpm.

The platter is a 6.6 kg aluminum design with TPE damping. A one-piece belt connects the motor to the platter, while an inverted bearing with a ceramic ball tip provides a low-friction rotational foundation.

The included 9" Musical Fidelity tonearm uses the same ultra-low-resonance design as the M8xTT, with a shorter tonearm tube, streamlined headshell, transparent acrylic bearing ring, and conical aluminum arm tube. It is fully adjustable for VTA and azimuth, and comes with two TPE-damped counterweights to help prevent resonances. Around the back, the M6xTT uses a direct 5P DIN tonearm output.
