The Monitor Audio Platinum PLIC II is a three-way in-ceiling speaker designed for high-performance architectural audio systems. It is intended for both new-build and retrofit installations, making it a strong choice for home theater, distributed audio, or discreet high-end music systems where ceiling installation is required.

An MPD high-frequency transducer handles treble, joined by two 2" C-CAM midrange drivers and an 8" long-throw RDT II bass driver. Monitor Audio says this driver array is mounted on a rigid aluminum baffle and directed toward the listening zone to provide uniform mid- and high-frequency dispersion.

The Platinum PLIC II features Monitor Audio’s Tri-Grip fixing system, a magnetic low-profile trimless grille, and compatibility with the optional MDF PLIC-BOX II or CB10 pre-construction bracket. It is supplied with a lifetime warranty.
