The second-generation Meze Audio 99 Classics preserve the signature warmth and craftsmanship of the original while introducing acoustic, ergonomic, and mechanical updates. The solid walnut ear cups, steel headband, and self-adjusting vegan leather strap provide a comfortable and timeless design built to last. Each pair is hand-assembled with matched walnut cups for consistent acoustic performance.

The new tuning offers a more neutral balance, with improved bass control, higher clarity, and better driver matching between channels. Updates include reworked cup volume, new damping materials, redesigned ear pads, and a tuned bass port in the jack shell. Together, these refinements improve linearity and spatial precision while retaining the musicality that made the first-generation model so beloved.

Connectivity and usability are modernized as well. Dual 3.5 mm sockets now accept a wider range of cables, and the included OFC cable is Kevlar-reinforced for durability. A compact USB-C DAC/amp adapter is provided for modern devices without a headphone jack, ensuring the 99 Classics remain plug-and-play across all platforms.
