McIntosh MI502 2-Channel Power Amplifier

The McIntosh MI502 is a flexible 2-channel amplifier for stereo systems, home theaters, and custom-installed distributed audio. It delivers 500 W per channel into 8 ohms or 800 W per channel into 4 ohms using closed-loop digital switching amplifiers and robust power supplies.
Its compact 2U chassis can be rack mounted using the included removable mounting brackets or used as a conventional standalone component. The highly efficient class D design requires no cooling fans during normal operation, making it well suited to equipment racks and dedicated installation spaces.
Two blue McIntosh Watt Meters display the power output of the individual channels, while multicolor LED indicators show channel status. The rear panel provides balanced and unbalanced inputs, standard 5-way speaker binding posts, Power Control triggering, and automatic signal-sensing power management.
