The McIntosh MCD350 is a high-performance SACD/CD player designed for straightforward playback of SACDs and CDs, with both analog and digital outputs for integration into a wide range of audio systems.

At its core is a balanced 2-channel, 32-bit/192 kHz PCM/DSD digital-to-analog converter. Fixed analog stereo outputs are provided in both balanced and unbalanced configurations.

Balanced Analog Outputs

The MCD350 provides both balanced and unbalanced fixed analog outputs for connection to a preamplifier, integrated amplifier, or receiver.

The analog outputs use gold-plated connectors for corrosion resistance and reliable signal transfer.

Digital Outputs

Coaxial and optical digital outputs allow the MCD350 to send its digital audio signal to an external DAC, preamplifier, or home theater processor.

The digital outputs support sample rates up to 24-bit/192 kHz, while the coaxial output also uses a gold-plated connector for corrosion resistance.

SACD and CD Playback

In addition to SACDs and CDs, the MCD350 supports MP3 and WMA playback.

A twin-laser optical pickup uses a single objective lens with separate laser units operating at wavelengths optimized for SACD and CD playback. Discs are read at twice normal speed, allowing data to be stored in buffer memory for improved error correction and tracking.

Classic McIntosh Design

The MCD350 features a rigid aluminum die-cast disc tray, classic McIntosh black glass front panel, illuminated logo, and aluminum end caps.

Its familiar McIntosh styling allows it to integrate visually with the company's amplifiers, preamplifiers, and other components.
