McIntosh MC303 3-Channel Power Amplifier

The McIntosh MC303 is a 3-channel solid-state power amplifier designed primarily to drive the front left, center, and right speakers in a high-performance home theater system. It delivers 300 W from each channel into 2-, 4-, or 8-ohm loudspeakers.

McIntosh Autoformers™ couple each output stage to the loudspeaker, allowing the amplifier to deliver its full rated power across all three supported impedances. The MC303 can also be used for tri-amping compatible loudspeakers in a 2-channel music system.

Power Guard® monitors the output signal and prevents clipping that could damage loudspeakers, while Sentry Monitor™ provides fuse-free short-circuit protection. Balanced and unbalanced inputs provide system flexibility, and three blue McIntosh Watt Meters display the real-time output of each channel. The meters can be switched off for theater installations.
