Klipsch Limited Edition 80th Anniversary Klipschorn Loudspeakers

A limited-edition two-way Klipschorn celebrating 80 years of American horn-loaded loudspeaker design

Kevin Deal saw these speakers at High End Vienna and fell in love. There are limited numbers of these, so place your order with us as soon as you're ready to fall in love too!

The Klipsch Limited Edition 80th Anniversary Klipschorn is a celebration of Paul W. Klipsch’s original 1946 loudspeaker design, reimagined as a modern two-way, fully horn-loaded statement speaker. Limited to 280 pairs worldwide, this anniversary model honors one of hi-fi’s most important loudspeakers while bringing the design forward with a modern active crossover and updated high-frequency horn system.

At the heart of the design is a new K-5-K high-frequency horn with a 2" throat, paired with a high-powered 4" compression driver using the motor structure from the Klipsch Jubilee. The folded-horn low-frequency cabinet uses a powerful K-33-E 15" woofer to deliver the bass extension, efficiency, and effortless dynamics that have defined the Klipschorn for generations.

The included Klipsch Active Crossover is finished in matching Tigerwood veneer and uses external DSP to adjust phase, time delay, EQ, and gain. Low- and high-frequency trim controls allow the system to be tailored to the listening room and personal preference, while preserving the immediacy and scale that made the Klipschorn a legend.

Limited Edition Craftsmanship

Each pair is hand-built to order by skilled artisans in Hope, Arkansas, with book-matched Tigerwood veneer that creates a mirror-image grain pattern across the two speakers. Brass inlay accents trace the contour of the folded horn, complementing the Tigerwood finish and sandcast aluminum horn for a presentation worthy of the Klipschorn’s 80-year history.

Included Anniversary Extras

Each Limited Edition 80th Anniversary Klipschorn system includes a special 180 g vinyl pressing selected from Paul W. Klipsch’s KlipschTape stereo-recording archives, including tracks used for dealer and enthusiast demonstrations in the 1950s. Buyers also receive a complimentary membership to the Klipsch Museum of Audio History.

Klipsch History

Founded by one of America's most celebrated audio pioneers, Klipsch has been making legendary loudspeakers since 1946. Paul W. Klipsch's goal was to reproduce the excitement of a live orchestra in his living room, and the Klipschorn was, and still is, the shining pinnacle of his achievements.

Legendary Heritage

All of the brilliance of that original corner horn has been distilled and poured through Klipsch's Heritage series, a line of horn-loaded speakers made from premium materials and following the four core principles of the Klipsch sound. Designed and assembled in the USA.
