Grado SR325 Open-Air Headphones

44 mm X2 drivers, precision-machined aluminum housings, Signature Silver hardware and cable, and F cushions

The Grado SR325 brings the company’s latest X2 driver platform to a precision-machined aluminum housing. Sitting at the top of Grado’s Classic Series, it combines the immediacy of an open-air design with upgraded materials throughout the headphone.

Its 44 mm X2 dynamic driver uses a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil, and rare-earth magnet system engineered for efficiency and control. Grado tunes the SR325 for speed and articulation, with tight bass, a forward and clearly defined midrange, and crisp high-frequency extension.

Precision-Machined Aluminum Housings

The aluminum housings are designed to reduce unwanted resonance and give the drivers a rigid, controlled platform. The SR325 also uses Grado’s Signature Silver headband assembly, derived from the same engineering platform as the company’s Signature Gold system.

Engraved reinforced-polymer gimbals and junction blocks provide controlled earcup rotation while keeping weight down. A genuine leather headstrap with contrasting white stitching adds cushioning, while an internal steel spring band lets you adjust the clamping pressure.

Signature Silver Cable and F Cushions

Grado’s Signature Silver cable is lighter and more flexible than its earlier cable designs. The SR325 is fitted with F cushions, which contribute to its immediate, energetic presentation. Because Grado’s cushions also act as acoustic tuning elements, they can be changed to alter the fit and presentation.
