Focal Omada N°3 Floorstanding Loudspeaker

A three-way design with Slatefiber drivers, Focal’s TAM tweeter, and three dedicated woofers for stereo and home cinema systems

Focal Omada N°3 is a slender three-way bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeaker designed for both stereo listening and home cinema. Its four 6.5" Slatefiber drivers include three dedicated woofers and a separate midrange driver, joined by Focal’s 1" Aluminum/Magnesium inverted-dome TAM tweeter.

Focal recommends Omada N°3 for rooms from 270 sq. ft. (25 m²). With 92 dB sensitivity and recommended amplifier power of 40–300 W, it combines substantial bass-driver surface area with a relatively slim cabinet.

Slatefiber Drivers

Omada N°3 uses Focal’s Slatefiber cone technology for both its midrange and bass drivers. The three 6.5" woofers use rigid Slatefiber cones, while a dedicated 6.5" Slatefiber driver handles the midrange. Focal manufactures these drivers in France using cones made with recycled carbon fiber.

TAM Tweeter and Waveguide

The 1" TAM tweeter uses an Aluminum/Magnesium M-shaped inverted dome. A urethane waveguide is designed to improve horizontal directivity and sound imaging, while Focal describes the tweeter’s presentation in terms of precision and softness.

Powerflow Bass-Reflex Design

Focal’s multi-port Powerflow technology uses both front and rear ports. According to Focal, the arrangement is designed to avoid dynamic compression while supporting the output of the three dedicated bass drivers.

Cabinet and Time Alignment

The cabinet uses ultra-rigid MDF construction intended to control resonance, along with an aluminum base for stability. The enclosure is tilted for Time Alignment, and the front panel has a leather-effect finish. A magnetic grille and spikes are supplied.
