The Feliks Audio Eos represents more than 25 years of experience in designing and building tube amplifiers. The company's new flagship combines headphone amplification, speaker amplification, and preamplifier functionality in a single component. Featuring a pair of 300B power tubes driven by CV181 (6SN7) tubes, the Eos is designed to deliver the warmth and musicality associated with triode amplification while offering the power, low noise, and versatility needed for a wide range of listening systems.

The Eos is the first Feliks Audio amplifier capable of driving both headphones and loudspeakers. Its headphone outputs deliver up to 8 W, while its speaker outputs provide up to 6 W for suitably efficient loudspeakers. Despite this substantial output, the Eos is also designed to accommodate sensitive headphones and IEMs with impedances as low as 10 ohms. RCA and balanced XLR preamp outputs extend its versatility, allowing the Eos to serve as the centerpiece of a larger audio system.

Feliks Audio has also equipped the Eos with a display, integrated diagnostics, and remote operation. Listeners can monitor operating conditions and tube health, adjust gain, change inputs, and switch between headphones and speakers without disconnecting either. Oak and American Walnut finishes complement the amplifier's substantial chassis and traditional tube architecture.

300B Power With Exceptional Versatility

At the heart of the Eos are two 300B power tubes paired with two CV181 (6SN7) driver tubes. The 300B is celebrated for its expressive midrange, natural tonal character, and ability to communicate musical dynamics. In the Eos, this classic tube combination is implemented in a design that delivers 5 W of headphone power at 1% THD, rising to a maximum of 8 W at 5% THD. Speaker output is rated at 4 W at 1% THD, with a maximum of 6 W at 5% THD.

The Eos is equally concerned with finesse. Feliks Audio reports that the amplifier achieves the lowest distortion and widest frequency range in its product lineup. A low output impedance and carefully controlled noise levels make it suitable not only for demanding full-size headphones but also for sensitive designs and IEMs. Its preamplifier section also benefits from improvements in frequency response and noise performance compared with previous Feliks Audio models.

Intelligent Monitoring and Convenient Control

The Eos introduces a comprehensive monitoring system designed to make owning a high-performance tube amplifier easier. Its integrated display provides information about the selected input, output, and gain settings, along with a VU meter. A diagnostic function allows owners to check operating voltages, temperature, and tube health, providing useful information about the amplifier's condition.

Physical controls and an included remote provide access to input selection, gain settings, display customization, and volume adjustment. A motorized volume control allows listening levels to be changed from the listening position. Headphones and speakers can remain connected simultaneously, with switching handled through the amplifier's controls.

Flexible System Integration

Two unbalanced RCA inputs and one balanced XLR input accommodate a range of analog sources. Headphones connect through either a 6.3 mm jack or a 4-pin XLR connector, while dedicated speaker terminals allow the Eos to power a pair of suitably efficient loudspeakers. For larger systems, RCA and XLR preamp outputs allow connection to an external power amplifier or compatible active loudspeakers.
