Denon's AVR-X2900H is an X-Series AV receiver built for immersive home theater systems, with 7 channels of onboard amplification and support for 7.2 surround or 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos speaker configurations. Rated at 95 W per channel, it can drive up to 7 speakers and two subwoofers, giving a flexible room the power and format support needed for movies, gaming, and music.

Six HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs support modern video systems, including 8K pass-through, 8K upscaling, HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dynamic HDR, HLG, Dolby Vision, ARC/eARC, VRR, QFT, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync. The AVR-X2900H also supports immersive formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Denon designed the AVR-X2900H as a unified hub for TV, gaming, and music, with high-resolution video support, advanced HDMI connectivity, Bluetooth audio transmission, and app-based control. Powered by HEOS adds streaming and multi-room playback with compatible HEOS products.

Setup is handled through Denon's guided Setup Assistant and Audyssey MultEQ XT room correction, with Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume included. For deeper acoustic tuning, Dirac Live Room Correction is available as an optional upgrade.
