Denon's AVR-A1H is a flagship A-Series AV receiver built for serious home theater systems, with 15 channels of onboard amplification, 15.4-channel processing, and support for speaker layouts up to 9.4.6. Rated at 150 W per channel, it can drive up to 15 speakers and four independent subwoofers, giving a high-performance theater room room-filling power and flexible bass management.

Seven HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs support modern video systems, including 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz pass-through, 8K upscaling, HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dynamic HDR, HLG, Dolby Vision, ARC/eARC, VRR, QFT, and ALLM. The AVR-A1H also supports immersive formats including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced, AURO-3D, and 360 Reality Audio.

Inside, Denon uses audiophile-grade DACs for all 19 channels, along with premium gold-plated speaker terminals, cast-iron feet, and a rigid construction to help control vibration and interference. The AVR-A1H also uses the largest power transformer Denon has built for an AV receiver, with larger capacitors selected for dynamic response and stability.

Setup is handled through Denon's guided Setup Assistant and Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction. For deeper acoustic tuning, Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control are available as paid upgrades. HEOS Built-in adds app-based streaming and multi-room playback with compatible HEOS products.
