A differently tuned and finished edition of the Aeon 2 with metallic black paint and a slight bass and treble boost. Hand-built in San Deigo!
Dan Clark's award-winning ÆON 2 Closed headphone arrives in a new avatar with bold metallic black paint, and a perforated ear-pad that delivers a new sound. The tuning almost exactly matches the Harman Curve, gently boosting bass and treble compared to originals. The result is that the mids get a bit lighter, and the soundstage becomes deeper and wider.
Lightweight Without Plastic
The ÆON 2’s headband and baffle are made entirely out of carbon fiber, aluminum, and titanium. At 328 g, this is one of the lightest, most comfortable headphones on the market, but also incredibly strong and durable.
Like every Dan Clark, this headphone is powered by a 100% proprietary driver that's designed in-house. A super-efficient transducer keeps weight down by reducing the magnet size, and the patented Trueflow technology improves airflow through the motor, providing a ton of detail.
For travelers who live by a full-size headphone experience, but don't have the space, the ÆON 2’s patented folding gimbal design allows it to pack small enough to fit into nearly anything, even a large purse.
