The Auris Headonia 300B Mk II is the reference model from Auris Audio, designed to exceed the demands of today’s high-end headphones. With two 300B power tubes, two 6SN7 input tubes, and 7 W of single-ended output, the Headonia delivers the power, headroom, and authority that contemporary premium headphones require—all while retaining the signature warmth and harmonic richness of classic 300B topology.

Serbia produces the best copper on the planet, and Auris uses it to wind its custom output transformers. Good output transformers offer huge bandwidth and dynamics and do justice to the high-quality components used upstream. 

The Single-Ended 300B Signature

The amplifier’s single-ended 300B architecture is built for natural tone and musicality. These tubes are prized for their organic, fluid presentation, revealing texture and micro-detail without losing body or weight. Impedance Matching for Total Compatibility

Many tube headphone amplifiers commit to one fixed output impedance, but the Headonia 300B offers a front-panel impedance selector tied to the output transformer secondaries. This allows proper matching to headphones from 32 to 600 ohms, preserving dynamics, maintaining clarity, and ensuring optimal damping. Whether you rotate through several headphones or use a single reference pair, the Headonia adapts to each model with precision.

Premium Build and Vibration Control

The chassis is machined from thick 8–10 mm aluminum, chosen for rigidity, shielding, and long-term stability. Auris further improves mechanical quieting through a rubber-plastic-metal sandwich foot design that limits transmitted vibration. Balanced inputs are handled by Lundahl transformers, which contribute exceptional noise rejection and enhanced refinement.

Flexible Balanced and Single-Ended Connectivity

The Headonia 300B includes both single-ended and transformer-coupled balanced inputs, offering broad source compatibility while ensuring optimal signal integrity. A preamp output allows the amplifier to function as the control center of a system when feeding external power amplifiers or active loudspeakers. For headphones, both 6.3 mm and 4-pin XLR outputs are provided, supporting the vast majority of aftermarket cables.
