It is machined for easy gripping, and it features two recessed inner rings on its underside to accommodate records that are slightly warped or that bulge near the spindle hole. And since it’s not magnetic, the stabilizer poses no interference risk with phono cartridges.

The AT628a weighs 450 g and fits spindles up to 21 mm in length. Check with your turntable’s manufacturer to confirm that it can support the weight of the AT628a.

The AT628a should not be used with the following Audio-Technica turntables: AT- AT-LP3XBT, AT-LPW30, and all entry-level models, including the Sound Burger and turntables in the AT-LP60, AT-LP60X and AT-LP70X Series.
