The ARCAM A50 Signature celebrates 50 years of ARCAM amplification expertise with the company's most advanced implementation of class-G technology to date. Designed in Cambridge, UK, this high-performance integrated amplifier combines 150 W per channel into 8 ohms with a fully dual-mono architecture, sophisticated digital conversion, and a newly developed class-A phonostage for both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges.

The A50 Signature is ARCAM's first dual-mono class-G integrated amplifier. Each channel operates as a self-contained module with independent transformer windings, dedicated power regulation, reservoir capacitors, a class-G lifter stage, and its own output-stage heatsink. This architecture minimizes interference between channels while delivering exceptional channel separation, low noise, and the dynamic capability needed to control demanding loudspeakers.

Class-G amplification combines the sonic advantages of class-A operation at lower output levels with additional power supply rails that engage when the music demands greater output. The A50 Signature takes this approach further with its independently powered channels, delivering 150 W per channel into 8 ohms and 220 W per channel into 4 ohms.

Digital sources benefit from a premium ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, with USB-C connectivity supporting resolutions up to 32-bit/384 kHz. HDMI eARC provides a convenient connection to a compatible television, while additional digital inputs accommodate CD transports, streamers, and other components. The redesigned analog circuitry includes a class-A MM/MC phonostage, allowing a wide range of turntables and cartridges to connect directly without an external phono preamplifier.

Wireless connectivity is equally comprehensive. Bluetooth 5.4 supports Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless, and Auracast, while both wired and wireless headphone listening options provide additional flexibility. Together with its redesigned volume control circuitry and extensive source connectivity, the A50 Signature offers a complete high-performance amplification solution for both traditional and modern music systems.
