The CD 60 is Sound Master tuned and uses Marantz's proprietary HDAM circuitry, optimized here with symmetrical parts placement and a more direct signal path. The result is a spacious, detailed presentation designed to bring new life to favorite CDs.

Beyond CD playback, the CD 60 supports high-resolution music files from a front-panel USB-A input, including WAV, FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, and DSD. A dedicated headphone output with selectable gain settings adds useful flexibility for private listening.
