The La Scala II's midrange and treble were exceptionaly smooth. I experienced no listening fatigue even when using a solid state amp. As for serious horn-loaded colorations, you know, the cupped hand sort of stuff, I didn't hear any. These speakers could image. Maybe that's the last thing you expect from a big-box loudspeaker. The soundstage was spacious, the performance precisely placed, the imaging was excellent, side to side, front to back, up and down. THe La Scala's real pay-off is its high sensitivity. You don't have to pour money into heroic amplification. You can use a flea-watt amp if you like. You could even use a headphone amp—I did.

Klipsch History

Founded by one of America's most celebrated audio pioneers, Klipsch has been making legendary loudspeakers since 1946. Paul W. Klipsch's goal was to reproduce the excitement of a live orchestra in his living room, and the Klipschorn was, and still is, the shining pinnacle of his achievements.

Legendary Heritage

All of the brilliance of that original corner horn has been distilled and poured through Klipsch's Heritage series, a line of horn-loaded speakers made from premium materials and following the four core principles of the Klipsch sound. Designed and assembled in the USA.
