Inspired by the famous Baltic line, and based on the same principles of coaxial coincidence, the iO3 satellites benefit from all the technology of their larger counterparts. Only the technological applications of Cabasse's Spatial Coherence Source Principle (SCS) could give such a compact system the fundamental characteristics of all Cabasse loudspeakers: linearity, coherence, dynamics, power handling, and absolute spatial coherence.
The two-way coaxial TCA driver has been completely designed in-house and is enclosed in a 6.3" spherical enclosure, offering a resonance- and reflection-free housing that's easy to integrate with home decor.
The concentric drivers offer more radiating surface and almost no diffraction. The homogeneity and purity of the diffusion from top highs to lows is linear. The gain in rigidity with no compromise in weight enables the use of new more powerful rare-earth magnets. It significantly improves the efficiency and the power handling of the iO3. The simultaneous production of both driver materials by Cabasse robotics guarantees reliability and consistency in performance.
