AudioQuest Niagara 7000 Low-Z Power/Noise Dissipation System

Solves Noise, Distortion, and Current-Delivery Problems: AudioQuest Niagara 7000 Low-Z Power Noise-Dissipation System Gives Components the Power They Need for Optimal Performance

Designed by power expert Garth Powell and offering a cost-no-object comprehensive power solution, the AudioQuest Niagara 7000 Low-Z Power Noise-Dissipation System completely rethinks AC power filtration. Delivering current on demand, incredible clarity, tremendous dynamic contrast, and jet-black backgrounds – all while providing complete protection from surges and spikes – Niagara 7000 delivers memorably emotional, immersive audio and video performances to users on an unprecedented scale. Multiple cutting-edge implementations – including AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation System, technologies developed by NASA, and the world's first dielectric-biased AC isolation transformers – comprise a comprehensive solution that cures distortion, noise, and current delivery. Visually, Niagara 7000 has a gorgeous, beveled, black-chrome faceplate that subtly reflects the colors and lights of the room. Much like how Niagara 7000’s circuitry allows each connected component to deliver its own acoustic personality, the color of the faceplate visually mirrors its environment.

Solves Power-Line Problems and Current-Delivery Shortages
The design goal for Niagara 7000 pertains to successfully addressing power-line problems that prevent audio/video components from achieving their potential. Due to the great increase in airborne and AC-line-transmitted radio signals, combined with overtaxed utility lines and ever-increasing demands from high-definition audio/video components, A/V systems fall short of getting the power required to fulfill their potential. Furthermore, today's power amplifiers are strained for instantaneous peak-current demand even when driven at modest volumes. Although there has been a substantial increase in dynamic range from audio software, the loudspeakers are often no more efficient than they were 50 years ago. This places great demands on an amplifier's power supply, as well as the source of AC power supplying it. In order to properly accommodate the promise of today's ever-increasing bandwidth and dynamic range, Niagara 7000 offers extremely low system noise and provides superior current delivery across a very wide range of frequencies. Differential sample tests and spectrum analysis prove that up to a third of a high-resolution (low-level) audio signal can be lost, masked, or highly distorted by the vast levels of noise riding along the AC power lines feeding audio components. This noise couples into the signal circuitry as current noise and through the AC ground, permanently distorting and masking the source signal. Sensitive audio components require better alternating current.

Holistic, Science-Based Noise-Dissipation Approach Proves Superior
When it comes to noise dissipation for AC power, many approaches can yield meaningful results. However, some approaches impart unintended effects – ringing, current compression, and non-linear distortions – that can render the cure worse than the disease. Niagara 7000 takes a holistic, science-based approach to AC power technology and represents a comprehensive solution to the ever-increasing noise that plagues today's power lines. It uses optimized radio-frequency lead directionality, electrical capacitor forming technologies developed by Jet Propulsion Laboratories and NASA, and AC inlet and outlet contacts with heavy silver plating over extreme-purity copper to ensure the tightest-possible grip.

Instantaneous-Current Reservoir of More Than 90A Peak
Niagara 7000 also employs the patented AC Ground Noise-Dissipation System, the world's first dielectric-biased AC isolation transformers, and the widest bandwidth-linearized noise-dissipation circuit in the industry. The unique passive/active transient power correction circuit features an instantaneous current reservoir of over 90A peak, specifically designed for today's current-starved power amplifiers. With Niagara 7000, music lovers will finally experience the clarity, dimensionality, frequency extension, dynamic contrast and grip their A/V systems would have been capable of delivering – if only the power had been right!

PLEASE NOTE: The Niagara 7000 does not ship with a power cord! We have plenty of great options to fit any budget so please call for more info!
