Kevin Deal is always really excited when Klipsch releases a new speaker or model in its Heritage Series. It's not because he's a retrogrouch, but because he understands that the way these speakers make music is timeless. He noted that its size and bass response made it ideal for small rooms, where you'd get bandwidth without overloading the bass. He found that it had a wide, immersive soundstage and the bass was quick and nimble.
Best of all, he said, "It's lively. Instruments sound like themselves." Though the experience is like live music and the Rebellion is not laidback, he noted that it is also not bright, aggressive, or shouty. "This is happening now."
