Vincent SA-T7 Preamplifier
A high-gain, low-noise tube preamp with onboard DAC. Designed and assembled in Germany.
With the SA-T7, Vincent has developed a preamplifier that raises the pure amplification of valuable music signals to a higher level than is usually done with tubes. This is thanks to a newly developed BestPentode circuit (by chartered engineer Frank Blöhbaum) that reduces the current distribution noise typical of pentodes.
The tubes are a new old stock (NOS) types that were used to amplify high-frequency signals 24/7 in telecommunication. The impedance converter consists of a 6S3P-EV, a Russian military triode with a long life that was used in the MIG fighter jet's radar.
Vincent developed an extremely low-noise power supply module, and also offers an additional 6SCH9P and 6S3P-EV gain stage that can be deactivated depending on sonic taste.
