From EL34 to 6CA7: A New Sonic Signature

This updated model transitions from the classic EL34 tube to its drop-in equivalent, the 6CA7. The result is deeper, more controlled bass, a rich and smooth midrange, and extended highs that stay refined. The new tube complement preserves the musical ease Auris is known for while adding a measure of grip and presence.

OLED Monitoring and Thoughtful Control Layout

A large front-mounted OLED display provides clear readouts of VU levels, a tube-hours counter, and an overall life timer, giving you full visibility into the amplifier’s status. Three front-panel controls—output impedance, volume, and input selection—make it simple to dial in the ideal listening setup. Auris places the impedance selector directly on the output transformer for the shortest and cleanest control path.

Hand-Wound Transformers for Precision Matching

Each output transformer features multiple secondary windings and is hand-wound in Serbia using high-purity copper wire produced under Auris oversight. This approach ensures accurate matching to a wide range of headphones and helps maintain tonal consistency and dynamic integrity.

Effortless Drive for 32–600 Ohm Headphones

The selectable impedance system allows the Nirvana 6 to adapt seamlessly to headphones from 32 to 600 ohms, making it equally capable with dynamic and planar magnetic designs. Its combination of current delivery and transformer control provides a stable, confident character regardless of load.

Connectivity and Everyday Usability

For headphone outputs, the amplifier includes both 4-pin XLR and 6.3 mm stereo jacks. Auris also supplies an ergonomic remote control that manages all major functions, adding convenience to long listening sessions.

The Nirvana 6 is built within a rigid aluminum chassis and uses premium components throughout. Vulcanized rubber feet significantly reduce mechanical vibration, helping the amplifier maintain clarity and composure at all listening levels.
