What a great show, and I had great seats. I was three rows from the stage, off to the side. Then in-between acts I walked around like I owned the place, and took 4th row center. I really enjoyed Lenny Kravitz, but I couldn't take my eyes off his drummer, Cindy Blackman. She played with the most intensity I've ever seen from any drummer, and I've been to a lot of concerts. I kept trying to get a picture or video over, but the bass player was always in the way. Check out her website here: http://www.cindyblackman.com.
This was from another position: Fourth row center. I saw Aerosmith back in the late 70's and they suuuuuuuuuucked. I've seen them a few times in the last couple years, and they're so much better. The show was incredible.
Aerosmith performed an amazing set, and even did a few covers that blew me away.
Click here for a video clip of their cover of The Beatles' "Helter Skelter." It was amazing.
All I was trying to do was get a good picture of Steve Tyler and Joe Perry, when these two girls get right in the middle of my shot! The nerve of some people!
Here's those darn girls again! Always gettin' in my shot...
